There’s a story you may have heard about where a man gets crucified, gets buried and then comes back to life again. Strange stories like that need looking into don’t they.

The message of the resurrection of Jesus is absurd and nothing but a joke to those “clever” ones among us, those pre occupied by the glitzy world and all that it has to offer. But, to others the very same message is the way God brings full meaning, healing, restoration and total peace into our lives. How come?

It has been said that this same identical biblical message ‘will melt wax but harden clay’, meaning it will bring the inner condition of our hearts out into the open. To some, this message will reveal our proud arrogant and self centred nature, to others it reveals a broken humble heart that admits it is broken, knows nothing and is completely helpless. For 30 years I thought the world revolved around me and I was working everything out in my own life. Then, when I finally admitted my delusion, stopped trying to paint over the rust, someone lovingly bought this message of a resurrection for me to stop and think about for myself. And the very same message that some mock is the way God bought full meaning, healing, restoration and total peace into my life.

You see, look at how God had shown up the folly of this worlds wisdom. For millennia the greatest philosophers have failed to find God. Now look around at all the technology, the scientific know how, and the “wisdom” available to us today yet the world still fails to find God, or a suitable credible alternative explanation  to our existence, in fact some of the things schools tell us are just so laughable to me now I see through a different lens – so I came from a big explosion. Umm yeh, ok…! No wonder there is now an explosion of mental health issues when people are taught this nonsense in school. And for those who do believe that and still manage to maintain a degree of sanity, it’s looking like the end of it all is nigh as some clever bloke is about to blow all of us up in WW3. No wonder the whole world is so miserable!!
After all that doom and gloom you’ve read so far I want to reassure you that all that’s not true, we’ve all just been lied to, because fear keeps people under control.
You see, God, in his wisdom, through the so called “foolishness” of this message about Jesus, decided to reveal the secrets of life to those humble enough (those not so stuck up themselves in their pride and arrogance) to listen and believe.

Religious people look to prophecy or outward rules and regulations to try and work out their salvation. Clever people trust their knowledge and science.

But this is simply a message about Jesus Christ, His death and then His resurrection. It is foolishness to religion and it is totally absurd unphilosophical and unscientific nonsense to todays ‘educated’ world. But, to those of us who who are being shown the mysteries of God, Jesus is lens through which we find the meaning of life. And this is not pie in the sky when we die, it is a supernatural and total transformation of our lives here and now, and for me I literally became a new creation when I took on this new software and new operating system.

If we look around us, not many clever or well to do people in this world find this and there is a reason. We can all be too proud and too materially well off for our own good. God deliberately chooses the weak things in this world to expose the mighty and proud and He deliberately chooses the untalented to shame the clever so called educated ones among us.
And why? Well, it’s because that way no man can boast. Every man is ultimately a total failure, the world’s weak are incapable and the worlds strong are too delusional, and the only thing anyone will ever take out of this world with them is what they can boast about taking from their relationship with the only man to have lived a perfect life, our federal head Jesus Christ, mankind’s perfect representative. The only thing I can boast in is what Jesus has achieved on my behalf and then given to me as my inheritance when I join His family.

Let’s analyse that. As a weak and uneducated man I had nothing. But, if in another world, I was physically strong, had the gift of the gab and all the worldly education and money that so many people have, I would still have nothing – because that doesn’t find God either. So, it doesn’t matter who we are, if we remain outside of relationship with God we are really only dead men walking, whereas God supplies EVERYTHING to us that we need through our relationship with our perfect ancestor and representative Jesus Christ. If we are broken, feel unloved or unworthy, if we hate ourselves and our lives then PLEASE remember that Jesus felt all that too, and then it was buried with him when He died because He received and took on Adams curse. BUT, God raised him back to life, perfect, and we can now inherit that wonderful perfect inheritance too, a spirit or soul free from shame or hurt. I initially tried to work for this and tried to work it out by myself by trying to be good but that is called ‘religion’. Rather, this is simply inherited by our faith, we simply believe this message and the change is supernatural, for me it was like a total downloaded software change – being born anew. We give Him our baggage and in return inherit from Him all that we lack. Personally, I lacked self worth and identity but the moment I chose to trust in this message of a perfect resurrected man asking me to join His family, I inherited a new identity – His identity, a son of God! Wow, now I’m not shy!!!

Sometimes we hear of clever but humble scientists being ‘born again’, and it doesn’t matter who we are, educated or not, there is only one thing that a man can boast about and that is Jesus Christ. I know Jesus and I know what He has done for me and that’s my boast.

Jesus is total freedom from the slavery of both religion and of this world system, which is actually satan’s religion – that which is opposes God.
The ungodly world system tries to destroy and better still, distort the gospel message. It creates the counterfeit of this truth, a “religion“ called Christianity, which along with all other religions creates rules with which it then uses to enslave us by various means. Religion equals rules and rules equal slavery.

The last words of Jesus in his physical human body were “it is finished“ there is nothing more that a man needs to do. No religion, no more rules, just a real trust in mankind’s perfect representative, our saviour Jesus Christ, having done it all on our behalf, the kind of unflinching trust we would put in a parachute as we jump out of a plane.

PLEASE – never again let anyone enslave you with religious conformity. I was trapped once in a so called Christian church but it was nothing more than slavery to their rule book. And I still meet many wonderful people still sadly trapped by whichever religion and rule book enslaves them but ultimately, wherever there are any rules, it is the world system that we are enslaved to. It is only in Jesus Christ, the saviour of any human alive today, that we find life and freedom.

Many who I’ve grown up with from childhood have accused me of being brainwashed by religion but I can tell you, I have thoroughly rejected the religious church teaching and so called Christian upbringing that I grew up with. As I have hinted before, a large part of this was nothing more than a perversion of the truth about Jesus Christ. I no longer call myself a Christian nowadays because of the perverse image it puts across in 2024.
I am not an effeminate weakling, I am not a pervert, I am not after your money, I am not a Jew hater, I am not an old anti Muslim Crusader or any of the other nasty things people associate with traditional Christianity. I am simply a believer in the true Jesus Christ introduced to me from the bible, not from mens traditions. Jesus was foreshadowed right throughout Torah, made manifest to all and now still continues to live in His body, the corporate body of His believers, as well as in each individual believer.
When He originally came into this world, He was liked by most, mocked by some, received by the humble and crucified by the religious.

Who is Jesus to you?

I was made to go to church as a youngster but rejected it as total nonsense. I knew Jesus saved from an early age too. I learned it in the school playground, but I also learned that Moses saved from the rebound…..

However, I do believe there is a desire in all of us to get to know where we came from and where we are going and I am now grateful for both that seed in my early years and the guys who many years later watered that seed and bought it to fruition after many dormant years. (Yes, these were the very same churches I’ve just slated so there’s some good in them but we do need to be very very discerning nowadays as to what is truth and what is counterfeit truth). Long story, just a snippet here, but I returned to church for a while after witnessing my eldest lad being born, figuring out that my school teachers were wrong when they told me that a baby could just develop like that over 9 months. My second lad is now doing a degree in naturopathy and as we chat I’m still only just touching the surface of how complicated our human body actually is and how stupid I was to believe this just “happens”. Friends, if you still believe that, like me, you’ve been hoodwinked.

Why did I choose Jesus instead of Allah or Buddha or any other of the gods who could have created me? Was it because I grew up with what I eventually chose? You tell me but does Allah, Buddha or for that matter the ‘God’ of many so called Christian churches today offer what I’ve mentioned on this page?

What about you, is that the reason why you are religious, or maybe why you’re not religious, because of what we experienced as a child? We really do need to think about these things for ourselves.

For me, I struggled with my identity and self worth. I tried to believe many things, including my science teachers, but there was only one thing that gave me peace, that rock solid piece that the world cannot give.
For others who are struggling with identity, meaning to life, self-worth etc belief in Jesus will lead you to His family and therefore His family identity. Wow does that give me self worth or what, this is where you should look Meghan, you got the wrong royal family!
Was there ever another perfect man with a perfect relationship with God who wants to give me or you that perfect family identity?
